The Percy E. Sutton SEEK Program- Welcomes SEEK, CD, EOP, HEOP students

The SEEK Program provides academic and counseling services to all qualifying students. This service assists transfer students in their transition to Queens College.

During their first semester, students are required to attend the SEEK Transfer Seminar. The SEEK Transfer Seminar provides information about career development services, Tutoring and Library services. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with fellow transfer students and have occasions to engage in leadership and group activities.

All incoming SEEK transfer students are required to attend the Transfer Seminar.

Transfer Students who were enrolled in the College Discovery (CD) Program and completed their associate degree or who were enrolled in SEEK, HEOP, or EOP programs in their previous college are eligible for participation in the SEEK Program at Queens College.

Please note that acceptance to Queens College does not guarantee acceptance to the Queens College SEEK Program. Students must contact the SEEK Program to verify program eligibly and requirements.

  3. Submit the Special Transfer Request form to the SEEK Program at Queen College

Receive your Acceptance Letter

Information on New Student Orientation, Advising and Registration
once accepted, students will receive an email from the Undergraduate Admissions Office regarding the submission of immunization documentation and a web link to set up their Queens College email and CUNYFirst accounts. Upon acceptance, contact the SEEK program immediately.

NOTE: ALL SEEK Students must contact the SEEK Program to verify program eligibility and requirements.

Please contact us to schedule an individual appointment with a SEEK Counselor to review your transcript evaluation and registration.

Commitment Deposit

All undergraduate students are required to pay a non-refundable Commitment Tuition Deposit of $100 to secure their enrollment. The deposit will be applied towards your first semester tuition charges and will allow you to schedule your orientation, placement tests and registration.

SEEK,CD,EOP,HEOP students may be eligible for a fee waiver.

Claim CUNYFirst, QC Username, and CUNY Portal accounts

CUNYFIRST
All students must claim their CUNYfirst account in order to register for classes, view and pay their bills, check final grades, sign up for CUNY A!ert, as well as other services. Once your account is activated, be sure to save your CUNYfirst Username and your 8 digit CUNYfirst ID in a safe location.If you have not done so, please claim your account now.

OFFICE 365 STUDENT EMAIL
After claiming your CUNYfirst account, all students will have access to their Office 365 email account which will be used for all official college correspondences. Office 365 uses the same username and password as CUNYfirst, which means that when your CUNYfirst password expires, your Office 365 password will also expire and you will not be able to enter either account until it has been reset in CUNYfirst.
Note: You must enter “@qmail.cuny.edu” after your username in order to log in. To access your Queens College email, please log in now.

QC USERNAME

All students entering Queens College must claim their QC Username account. Your QC Username account allows you to access the schools computers, Wi-fi on campus, and MyQC. This account is also required in order to RSVP for a new student orientation workshop and receive your QCard (Queens College ID card).
